Our Mission
Kingston Museum exists to ensure that Kingston's stories are preserved, celebrated, and accessible to all who seek to understand this historic community. Since 2015, we have served as stewards of local history through our Museum Education Center, curated collections, and ongoing preservation efforts.
Since 2015, Kingston Museum has deepened our connection to this historic community by building collections, supporting education, and ensuring Kingston's past remains accessible for generations to come.
Our Vision
We envision a Kingston where the rich history of this community is preserved for future generations, where everyone has access to the stories that shaped us, and where understanding our past strengthens our connection to place and to one another. Achieving this vision takes commitment from all of us.
A community's strength lies not in what it owns, but in what it remembers and honors together. Our job is to keep Kingston's history alive and accessible to all who seek to understand it. - Kingston School House Museum, Mission Statement
